The Office of Alumni Relations invites nominations for the Distinguished Alumni Awards, honoring graduates who exemplify excellence in their professions and meaningful service to Georgetown College and the broader community.
Since 1953, Georgetown College has proudly recognized alumni whose achievements reflect the values, character and spirit of our institution. These awards celebrate individuals who not only succeed, but who uplift others along the way.
Nominees should:
- Be distinguished in their chosen profession;
- Demonstrate integrity, leadership, and achievement in a way that inspires pride among Georgetown’s faculty, staff, students and alumni;
- Reflect the value of their Georgetown education through evident loyalty, pride and engagement with their alma mater;
- Maintain a record of service or philanthropy that advances the common good.
All living graduates of Georgetown College who have received a bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree are eligible for consideration for the award. However, current members of the Board of Trustees, current employees of the College, and current officers and members of the Alumni Board are not eligible for the award. Nominees will be screened and selected by the Office of Alumni Relations and the Alumni Board. The chosen individuals will be notified, and their approval will be required before proceeding.
