Freshman Move-In: Alumni Ambassadors
Help us Welcome the Freshman Class to Campus!
Our freshman class will arrive on campus on
Saturday, August 15
, and we are seeking alumni ambassadors to help make move-in day an exceptional and welcoming experience for our students. There are opportunities to participate both on campus and from your home. You can work an hour or all day. As we get closer to move-in, Alumni Relations will follow up with additional information.

I would like to help with the following activities:
Welcome Letter - Write a one-page letter to a new incoming freshman providing them with words of wisdom, favorite memories, things you loved about GC, etc. Letters will be left in the rooms of students before they begin move-in. Letters will be emailed to the alumni house and printed on campus. *Note: If you wrote a letter last year, let us know if you would like us to use it again this year
Welcome Tent/Table - Provide directions, instructions and welcome letters to students and their families as they arrive.
Physical Labor - Help families lift, carry, and transport items from vehicles to student rooms.
